First Dev Log First major Headache

Dev log 26/05/2022:
3 computer restarts later.2 small lasagnas eaten and one lost unsaved dev log. the games movements controls are finally fixed from the context sensitive left mouse shoot/move button. adding a new input event to the game project made for a quick fix. but with quick fixes comes bugs.the player unable to now move by holding down the right mouse button.this issue became more problematic then usual creating 3 pc freezes caused by a [loopWhile] event that activated itself both on the move button press and release. the problem was not solved by adding a flip flop and a input key down detector, causing another crash. while the computer was restarting a fix soon came to remove the [LoopWhile] and replace it with a gate.now the player can move by holding down the the right mouse button.with the controls closer to working a few other issues to be resolved with shooting mechanics and the added 2 skills.
Dev Log 27/05/2022
and yet another bug hunt. was running into issues with firing shots and not being able to move instantly after without having to click on the ground .issue was a simple branch that did not need to be there once removed everything began flowing correctly. this was a short day due to having to get blood work done and get a few things.
Dev Log 28/05/22
woke up later then usual as per shift change to graveyards at work starting tomorrow night. but till then back to working on this project. today began by fixing the line detection to register if the first object hit is a enemy if so Damage will be applied to part/character.ran into a issue where the regular foot soldiers were not taking any damage. with a quick fix applied by attaching a cube mesh and changed it visibility to hidden, enabling the cursor to aim on enemy.will be look to see if the issue has to do with the skeletal mesh of the enemy. full issue now fixed being caused by the collision preset type was character mesh changing it to block all dynamic seems to have fixed issue. its a bit later in evening after planning to add a visible line where the line trace to shoot happens to give better visual feed back to player where their bullet impacts
